Bulk ATL Check

Upload your list of CNICs or NTNs and download it back with each one's Active Taxpayer List status.

  1. Make a file with one CNIC (13 digits) or NTN per row. Other columns, such as the client's name, are fine and come back next to the result. A .xlsx, .csv or Notepad .txt file works.
  2. Choose the file and the list(s) to check, then press Check my list.
  3. Your list downloads as an Excel file with the status filled in.

Privacy: your file is read once to look up the numbers and is never stored. Only the result is sent back to you. "Active filer" follows the Income Tax list. Based on the lists FBR publishes; confirm important cases on FBR's official portal.

How to prepare your file

A clean file gives clean results.

  1. One number per rowPut one 13-digit CNIC or one NTN in each row. You can mix CNICs and NTNs.
  2. Keep other columnsExtra columns, such as a client name, are fine and come back next to the result.
  3. Protect long numbersIn Excel, format the CNIC column as Text, or save as .xlsx, so long numbers are not shortened.

What you get back

The result is an Excel file with your own rows, plus the status.

Frequently asked questions

What files can I upload?

Excel (.xlsx), CSV and Notepad (.txt) files, up to 1 MB.

How should I arrange the numbers?

Put one 13-digit CNIC or one NTN in each row. Other columns, such as a client name, are fine.

Why did my CNICs lose digits?

Excel can turn long numbers into scientific notation. Format the CNIC column as Text or save the file as .xlsx before you upload.

Which lists are checked?

You choose Income Tax, Sales Tax or both. The result shows the status for each list you chose.

What does Active filer mean in the result?

The overall result follows the Income Tax list. If the number is on the Income Tax Active Taxpayer List, it is shown as an active filer.

Is my file stored?

No. The file is read once to look up the numbers. Only the result is sent back to you.

Is there a limit?

Yes, to keep the service available for everyone. Files up to 1 MB are accepted, and fair-use limits apply per visitor. Very large lists may need to be split into several files.

How current is the data?

Our copy of the lists is refreshed every day. The result file shows the date each list was last updated.

Is this official?

The data comes from the lists FBR publishes, but this is our own tool, not an FBR service. Confirm important cases on FBR’s own portal.

Can I check just one number?

Yes. Use the ATL Verification tool for a single CNIC or NTN.
